Postering is one of the most popular ways to promote events or recruit members for student organizations. Posters are subject to approval by the Kirby Welcome Desk for hanging across campus in approved posting areas, and by Housing & Residence Life staff in 149 LSH for hanging in residence halls.
Posters must include the sponsoring organization and complete contact or event information. They should also include a space for staff to place the approval stamp and date. All events publicized on campus must be approved events in Bulldog Connect. Posters from external organizations may not be posted in approved posting areas; they must only be posted in the two open posting areas (near Superior Dining and in the Bohannon Ven Den).
Student organizations are responsible for the cost of any posters produced. The UMD Print Shop is one on-campus resource for printing posters, in both 11" x 17" and large-format sizes.
