When the University makes the determination to close or to change standard operations due to emergency situations or weather conditions, the following procedures apply to events planned in Kirby Student Center:
- Reduced Operations: Kirby Student Center, in conjunction with the Vice Chancellor of Student Life, will determine if any events in Kirby Student Center will take place; Kirby Student Center will contact those affected by email.
- Canceled Classes: all events in Kirby Student Center are canceled
- Delayed Start: Kirby Student Center will follow the delayed start schedule which means that events in Kirby Student Center will begin 1 hour after the delayed start to allow time for the building to be opened and rooms prepped for events.
- Early Release: Kirby Student Center will follow the early release schedule as indicated by the University. All events scheduled after the Early Release commences are canceled.
