Welcome Week is the next step in your transition to the University of Minnesota Duluth. You will meet other new students, learn more about UMD, and explore the Duluth community.
Welcome Week will help you feel more comfortable and confident as you start your experience at UMD and begin classes, not to mention it is a lot of fun! You will get to participate in key campus traditions including Bulldog Scramble (featuring the “UMD” photo in Malosky stadium) and more!
Transfer students are highly encouraged to participate as much as they are able to during Welcome Week. Students who participate in Welcome Week report having an easier time navigating campus and feeling more confident during their first semester on campus.
